A few days ago, the Badir IT team had the pleasure of attending the Electronic Payment Forum and Exhibition (EPAIX) 2025 in Tripoli — the first event of its kind in Libya. It was an exciting and forward-looking gathering that brought together key players from the financial, technology and government sectors.
We had a great conversation with our new partner Gpay electronic payment service, discussing the future of secure and accessible digital transactions in Libya and how we can continue to support their growth through reliable IT services and infrastructure.

One of the key highlights of the event was the announcement by Mr. Naji Mohamed Issa, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, who officially launched the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion 2025–2029. This initiative aims to make financial services more accessible, secure and affordable for everyone in Libya.
These efforts represent a major step forward in Libya’s digital finance journey. We’re proud to be part of a community working toward a more connected, inclusive and secure digital economy.
Stay tuned as we continue to support our partners and clients on their journey toward digital transformation.
